yeah, maybe the chili peppers will headline . . . but they won't actually be there. it's a whole new thing that bands will all be doing, but the peppers were the first. a whole field of kids with headphoned i pads downloading the show from a secret location, pausing when they want to for beer and bathroom lines, then right back to the song they left off on. the chili peppers have been giving away clues online all month where their secret location really is and contests so you can win backstage passes to meet seth and thatguy. golly gee.

Honestly, my only suggestion is Phoenix headlining the second stage and a couple Daptone Record acts. The few acts I'm excited to see live anymore rarely tour the US.

A Fall Out Boy reunion tour seems more likely than all of the good acts y'all are suggesting.

I'd still love to see Iggy and the Stooges at vfest again and I'll make my usual request of Hum (this time they're atleast somewhat active, doing a Memorial Day show in Chicago).

And be sure to beef up the sound on the lawn, it was pathetic at best during Weezer's set.
From a strictly selfish point of view, it would be nice to have a paid VIP area if only to be able to get out of the sun on the second stage.

GREAT..... that lawn was awful last year. Please make the sound on the lawn louder as suggested. Please make sure the Video screens are in SYNC with the actual sound, or just move the bigger bands to the other stage where it actually felt like more of a festival. Those are my only suggestions.
