Young Summer - (Set time: 9:10 PM)

Everything Young Summer (a.k.a. Bobbie Allen) does as an artist, she approaches with incredible intensity. Faced with a period of stage fright early in her career, she overcame it, as she likes to say, by “steamrolling through it.”

There’s also a strong word Allen uses to describe her creative process: “deliberate.” From the synthesizer sounds that shift with each track; to mining her favorite ‘80s influences such as The Smiths, Prince and Sinead O’Connor; to the songwriting process and order of the tracks, she refused to leave anything to chance.

She's set to release a new EP this summer and tour in the fall.
Indiginis - (Set time: 8:20 PM)

Two Tibetan brothers form Indiginis, paying homage to their roots as they forge their own path of innovation. Together, they are melodic and instinctive in their approach, where soul and electronic music become one.
The Galaxy Electric - (Set time: 7:30 PM)
The Galaxy Electric

Cosmically tribal with a mixture of bossanova, psychedelia, and the energy of revolution, their music sets the mood for explorations in space. Utilizing lo-fi recording techniques, sound design-infused arrangements, and primitive reverb and echo devices, The Galaxy Electric forge their unique sonic palette. Dusty tapes, overly saturated images, and a sense of nostalgia for the way we used to hope things would be encompass the spirit of this endeavor. Let Jacqueline whisk you away with her song bird-like vocals, while Augustus mans the controls of his static emitting devices and let their retro-futuristic pop tunes take you to the next dimension. Their debut album, Everything is Light and Sound, is out now.
