Recent cuts to federal programs and increased hardships across the District have affected many of our neighbors, and our friends at So Others Might Eat (SOME) are facing critical food shortages. We want to help.

So this 9/30 DAY, from 10am to 7pm, you’re invited to come down to 9:30 Club with your donation of at least FIVE non-perishable items (see SOME’s wishlist below) for a spin of our prize wheel!

Win concert tickets, I.M.P. gift cards, 9:30 and Atlantis merch, Friends with Benefits points, and more, including prizes from our partners below!

PLUS! Everyone who donates will also be entered to win the Grand Prize – a pair of tickets to every show at 9:30 Club in October 2025!

Think of it as a practice run for the big Holiday Raffle in December. Good luck!

SOME’S DONATION WISHLIST:

  • Most non-perishable items will be accepted

As in life, there are rules:

  • One spin per person – Must donate a minimum of 5 non-perishable items to spin the wheel. You can donate more, but you only get one spin, so make it count!
  • Tickets won are non-transferable. That goes for individual shows and Grand Prize tickets. Winners will be added to the guest list and tickets can be picked up at the box office on the night of the show.
  • The Grand Prize winner will be selected randomly and notified on October 1, 2025.
  • Donation items must be non-perishable food items. Donations are accepted at the discretion of venue staff, who have the right to decline items if they do not fit the criteria for donations.
  • Employees of I.M.P. or I.M.P.’s venues and their immediate family are not eligible to participate.

Now more than ever, DC needs to stand up for itself and continue the fight to protect Home Rule and achieve self-governance. To help in that effort, all profits from these tee shirts will go to Free DC, leading the charge to do just that in our community.

The tee shirts will be available in person at our 9/30 Day event and online in our merch store the same day.


This 9/30 Day, we’re excited to announce our new partnership with COMPOST CREW, offering residential and commercial compost collection in the DMV.

Beginning TODAY, we’re composting all food waste at 9:30 Club and The Atlantis. This includes back-of-house leftovers from artist catering, as well as food scraps and compostable serving containers from Food Food at 9:30 Club!
