Lemz
Lemz

Lemz makes the dance floor feel like both a home and an escape. As a DJ/producer, his club sets and original productions run the gamut from disco, house, electro, and club – even a bit of top 40 pop when the time is right – plus he can read almost any crowd like an open book. Behind a pair of Technics since the age of 12, Lemz’s early foundation in the craft led to a seemingly effortless skill that belies his laser-driven focus and constant challenge to surprise, and thrill, his audiences. Born in California and raised in Baltimore, the now DC-resident has racked up an impressive roster of parties (Sleaze, Rough House) and residencies in our nation’s capital with seemingly no intention of slowing down. It may look like he wants to rule the scene, but he really just wants to make you dance.
Jacq Jill
Jacq Jill

Texas born, DC devoted, Jacq Jill is breaking barriers and creating her own path through the illustrious underground current.

She has been a busy DJ, curator, and engineer since 2013, and in that time has shared the decks with many global names including Volvox, Mall Grab, LOUISAHHH, Matrixxman, DJ Minx, J Phlip, Por Detroit, and Carlos Souffrant.

Most recently, she was featured in Boiler Room’s 2019 North American Tour where she played alongside DJ Haram, Ariel Zetina, and DC natives Lisa Frank & Jett Chandon.

Expanding her reach, Jacq has made noted appearances at Elsewhere NYC, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Hot Mass Pittsburgh, Nowadays NYC, and The Lot Radio.

Check out her sounds as she has been featured on Mall Grab’s London based Rinse FM show, San Francisco based collective Honey Soundsystem’s mix series, HNYPOT, as well as Chicago based mix series, DAISYCHAIN.

Her summer 2018 Honcho Summer Campout debut featuring the likes of Jasmine Infiniti, Jason Kendig, Jackie House, Gideön, and heaps more queer royalty, marked her as a breakout artist to watch. This mix featured in RA’s Honcho Campout write up about the American queer techno scene.

You can find her running a new underground warehouse series, Hothouse, who’s launch featured Discwoman heavyweight, Shyboi.

Her emotional, fun, no mercy sets exude her ability to connect the room, and more obvious, her love of music.
Ed Bailey
Ed Bailey
From the early days of sharing a residency with dj Dimitri and spinning with Todd Terry to a more recent endeavor touring with Kylie Minogue opening for her US concerts, Ed Bailey has spent the last thirty years amassing some serious dj credentials. He has played major clubs, huge party weekends, dark, small, sweaty underground venues, and 10,000 person concert venues across multiple continents. He has held residencies at every major club in his hometown of Washington DC for the last 30 years - including Tracks, Ozone, Millennium, Cobalt, Nation, and Town. For two decades, he has been known for offering a varied style of music and is often recognized as a big room, big anthem, big vocal dj which is why he held residencies at major dance clubs like Tracks, VelvetNation, Salvation in Miami, both Fusion and Jungle in Atlanta, and plays annually for the NYC Pride fireworks dance cruise...yet Bailey has his roots in underground, serious house music which is why he djed at the legendary after-hours club 1722 in Baltimore on Pride weekend annually, why he was asked by Junior Vasquez to fill in for him on occasion in NYC and even open for Junior on New Year's Eve at the Roxy, and why he opened for The Freemasons for their very first US appearance. He has become even more well known across North America and Europe for his Madonnarama events at which he djs all Madonna music all night and has played official (and unofficial) Madonna concert after parties like ones in Zürich, Houston, Philadelphia, Ft Lauderdale, Atlanta, Washington DC, and Toronto. Additionally, he has played huge stadium and concert venues djing for Blondie opening for her on tour, djing on stage with the b-52's, djing for the Pet Shop Boys' live concert dance events, and in 2011 he toured with Kylie Minogue opening for her US tour dates. Despite such a remarkable resume, Bailey has never taken any of this too seriously, after all, he reminds us that "its a party, its supposed to be fun, not serious."
